State Could Lose Stimulus Funds Because of Poor Planning

In this interview on the Eight Forty-Eight news program, Laurence Msall, President of the Civic Federation, expresses concern about Illinois’ lack of a capital improvement plan. Msall notes that communications between the various governments of Illinois regarding stimulus projects are lacking, and as a result the potential exists for Illinois to lose out on billions of dollars of federal assistance if governments submit competing programs.
