Chicago's unfunded pension liability leads US cities: S&P

In this article about an S&P study which shows the City of Chicago has the nation's largest unfunded pension liability, the Civic Federation expressed concern about the drop in the funded ratio for all City pensions since the year 2000. The Federation cautioned that while the funding situation is not yet a crisis, it is important for Chicago's fiscal health that City officials address the issue soon.
