On January 30th, 2004, approximately 100 pension managers, government officials, and local business leaders attended the Civic Federation’s second annual public pension forum. Co-sponsored and hosted by Bank One, Public Pension Funding: Creative Strategies and Challenging Times addressed such important and timely issues as current market conditions, early retirement initiatives, and defined benefit versus defined contribution plans.
