In this letter, Civic Federation President Laurence Msall applauds CTA Chairman Carole Brown for casting the single vote in favor of increasing paratransit fares. Although no one wants to financially overburden disabled riders, Brown's action courageously recognized the hard financial realities facing the CTA.
