A new institute to be launched by the Civic Federation with a generous multi-year grant from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation is the subject of this article. The Institute for Illinois' Fiscal Sustainability will provide timely fiscal policy analysis to the State of Illinois with a focus on healthcare and Medicaid and infrastructure and debt.
