Communications Specialist

Eleanor Blick joined the Civic Federation in late 2011 to assist in the development of internal and external communications. She will specifically focus on managing website content, event multimedia and tracking media coverage.

Eleanor earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Columbia College Chicago in 2011 where she graduated magna cum laude. Her work at Columbia specialized in digital media, the delivery of news to non-geographic communities and editorial writing.

In addition to her work at the Civic Federation, Eleanor is co-managing editor for The Logan Square Literary Review and covers Chicago cycling news for Gapers Block. She loves off-road cycling, other people’s pets and pastries of the blueberry variety.
