Description: On January 28th, 2005, over 150 guests from transportation agencies, local governments, nonprofits, and businesses attended the Transportation Finance Forum presented by The Civic Federation and Chicago Metropolis 2020. Featured guests include Peter Hutchinson, co-author of The Price of Government, Brookings Institution Fellow Robert Puentes, Macquarie Infrastructure Group representative Sean MacDonald, Illinois State Toll Highway Authority Executive Director Jack Hartman, and Illinois Department of Transportation Secretary Tim Martin. Presenters discussed current challenges facing northeastern Illinois' transportation systems, and innovative ways to meet those challenges.
