Senior Research Associate

Rebecca McAlpine joined the Civic Federation as a Senior Research Associate in 2011. Rebecca earned her Master of Public Administration degree from DePaul University, where she studied Public Service Management. Her graduate research focused on tax policy, transportation and infrastructure, and community development. During her time at DePaul, Rebecca participated as a Chaddick Scholar for the Chaddick Institute for Metropolitan Development and was an active contributor to the institute’s research publications.

Prior to completing her Master’s degree, Rebecca worked as a Service Coordinator for the Illinois Early Intervention program. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from North Park University.
