Communications Coordinator

Linda Schulte joined the Civic Federation staff in 2011 as Communications Coordinator with responsibility for developing and implementing internal and external communications strategy. Prior to moving to Chicago, Linda worked at Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, most recently managing board and media relations.

Linda earned her Master of Arts degree in International Affairs from Washington University in St. Louis in 2010. Her thesis, “Foreign Policy Mismanagement during American Presidential Transitions,” examined the role of the presidential transition period in deflecting executive attention from foreign policy during the 1961 Bay of Pigs crisis and the 1993 Somalia intervention. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Truman State University.
