Carla Reyes Research Associate
Carla Reyes is a Northwestern Public Interest Fellow who graduated from Northwestern University in 2008. She majored in Political Science and minored in History, with a concentration in American History. Carla also attended the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) in France in fall of 2006 where she completed in the Northwestern-Sciences Po European Union Studies Program. While in college, Carla worked at Evanston Northwestern Healthcare as a research aide for the Jennifer M. Houghtaling Postpartum Depression Project and she received the 2008 Northwestern University Student Employee of the Year award for her work. She was also a DJ for WNUR 89.3 FM's Rock Show for about three years and she occasionally takes on a guest set in the evenings.
Carla grew up in Los Angeles, CA and is consequently a fan of the Dodgers, the beach and big cities. Her time in Evanston taught her to appreciate gelato and Technics turntables. She is pleased to continue pursuing her interests in research and public finance in the coming years in addition to exploring Chicago.
